The best charity service in Mumbai City
Relief and welfare Society for the blind is registered on 22 of January 1980. Since from 35 years our society is doing welfare activities towards underprivileged blind people’s.
During the last fifteen years the trustees took an initiative of taking care of the Blind people by way of distributing free food grains to them on a monthly basis.
We are concentrating to accomplish the basic needs for them. We have no Govt. grants, so our all activities are depends upon the public Donors.
We have an Income Certificate Exempted under Section 80-G Certificate. The Gen. Secretary of the Trust Mr Jamshed ( Blind ) who himself happens to be a blind could understand the problems and difficulties of these people.

Monthly Food Grain Distribution
Providing essential food items (wheat, rice, dal, etc.) to more than 600 blind individuals and families every month

Healthcare & Medical Assistance
Distributing free medicines, walking sticks, and other medical support to blind individuals. Walking sticks are given twice a year, ensuring mobility and independence

Shelter & Housing Support
Development of a dedicated “Blind Colony” in Malad, Mumbai, which provides safe housing for over 50 blind families

Education for Children
Offering free computer education to the children of blind families. Over 150 children are currently enrolled, helping them gain digital literacy and build competitive skills for future employment

Vocational Training & Self-Sufficiency
Arranging skill-building and vocational training programs throughout the year for blind individuals and their families

Counselling & Community Support
Organizing monthly gatherings where blind individuals can share their challenges with the trustees, especially with General Secretary Mr. Jamshed (blind)

How do we support blind individuals and families ?
